I am eager to show off the beautiful attractions in our area, and share my knowledge and some history of B.C.

Being lucky to be born, raised and married in Southwestern B.C., I graduated from the University of BC with a degree in urban geography. Enjoying a good career working in a major Canadian bank finding locations for its branches throughout Beautiful BC, I later moved into public and customer relations. After retiring young in 2000 I became very involved in tourism, as a local guide and with the Canadian Tour Guide Association, being president for three years and on its board for a total of eight years.

While working mainly as a 'step-on guide', I often take visitors around the Lower Mainland, Whistler, Victoria and Seattle. I was delighted and fortunate to work for eight years on a busy sightseeing train from Vancouver to Whistler for BC's famous Rocky Mountaineer Railtour Company. As they no longer offer this route, I am now free and eager to show off the beautiful attractions in our area, and share my knowledge and some history of B.C. I love to take people to many of the places that have made Vancouver such a beautiful and interesting area to visit. This photo was taken at the West Coast Railway Museum in Squamish.
